Specialist EDM for Detailed Engineering Work

Spark erosion, also known as die-sinking EDM, removes material from conductive workpieces using controlled electrical discharges. It can be appropriate where conventional cutting tools cannot easily form the required detail.

MODLIT confirmed spark erosion as part of its engineering capability, alongside wire erosion, CNC turning and milling, surface grinding and in-house toolmaking. Each project is reviewed to determine the appropriate manufacturing process.
